Chapman offers several clubs and organizations to our students.  Please check the school calendar for meeting dates.  Below is a list of all the current clubs at Chapman.  To the right is a printable document outlining the purpose, sponsors, and planned activities for each club.

Student Council

Brittany Colquitt & Jami Shade

To be a liaison between students, faculty, and community. To build school and community spirit.

Various civic activities to include CRCT Spirit Week, holiday grams, Pennies for Patients, Career Day, book drive, and assistance with 4th grade visits.

Art Club

Mary Jo Mulvey

To give students a creative way of expression through different mediums.

Students will have the opportunity to explore art materials, such as painting and clay, on an individual basis.

Shakespeare

Drama Club 

Carrie Barie & Virginia Richards

To introduce drama, theater, and Shakespeare to 5th and 6th grade students.

Students will learn about drama and Shakespeare.  They will put on a play for an audience.

 

Yearbook Staff

Sherri McMullen

To help design the Chapman Intermediate School yearbook.

To help design the yearbook, students will upload pictures and paste into the HJ yearbook program.

Media Marvels

Stephanie Gauthia

Assist in making the media center a welcome and inviting place for the Chapman community.

Assist with media center duties, including shelving books, check-in, and computer set-up.

Photo Club

Mary Jo Mulvey

To have students help with the photographs for the yearbook.

Students will be working with members of the yearbook producing photos.

Mural Club

To have students participate in painting murals to hang at Chapman for school spirit.

Students will be working together to paint murals that will be hung in the main hallway at Chapman.

To promote ideals of character, service, and leadership among students.  To reward meritorious achievement and encourage education.

Canned food drive, campus wide Earth Day clean-up, recycling paper, Ronald McDonald House can top collection

Junior Fish Club

Virginia Richards & Pam Garmon

To fellowship with other Christian students and to learn what good character means in the life of a Christian.

Praise and worship and fellowship.  Local youth pastors and Chapman staff sharing the character education words as they relate to the Bible.
